A complete descent of the Gorges de l’Ardèche which will delight experienced athletes!
With 32 kilometers of distance to cover in one day, this formula is the most intense that we can offer you to fully experience canoeing in Ardèche.
What you will experience
Your day promises to be intense and sporty, punctuated by small rapids and calmer sections. You will descend the entire Gorges de l'Ardèche, discovering one of the most beautiful canyons in Europe and its nature reserve.
Clearly, this descent of the Ardèche by canoe or kayak is aimed at the more sporty.
As a side note, the record set for the distance is 1h28: you can try your luck!!!
Duration of descent
No time to rest or stroll on the river. You are here to paddle!
On average, over the day, you will paddle for 6 to 7 hours.
Distance traveled
You will go down the river for approximately 32km between Vallon Pont d'Arc and the Sauze landing stage at the exit of the Gorges de l'Ardèche.
You will leave directly from our canoe rental base.
This route is the only one to allow you to discover the entirety of the Gorges de l'Ardèche.
Meeting place
The appointment is made early morning directly at our Aigue Vive rental base!
You leave directly from our base and we take you back by bus to your starting point once you have completed your descent.

Prerequisites
To sail on the Ardèche, children must be at least 7 years old.
All participants must know how to swim 25m and submerge themselves.
If you have younger children it is still possible to do the descent but accompanied by a qualified instructor.
Warning: this descent is really sporty and should be reserved for slightly sporty participants!
